Climate Talks
Working with Beckett's Park on their Chatbooth project, our KS2 children devised their own talk in the style of TED talks, to share their thoughts on Climate Change.
Children visited Beckett's University campus, one of our LLA (Leeds Learning Alliance) partners, to enjoy an inspiring University Campus tour, but also to focus on the skills for presentation and powerful speaking. The Chatbooth project involved lessons on content and performance, as the children honed their climate concerns, before returning to school to refine and record their video shorts, in the style of TED talks.
