Learning Logs
The children are asked to complete Learning Logs, which are based upon the topic led Learning Challenges which form part of the Southroyd Promise. Children are able to respond to challenges in an open ended way, making physical models, using technology, creating books, leaflets or using music to reflect their learning. Below are a few recent examples to reflect the diverse way in which children are able to complete their Learning Logs.
Children in Year 3, made Black History projects. This one is about Martin Luther King's Dream by Max Cowling.
Lucy McLellan made a model of the Elizabethan Globe theatre.
In Year 4, children were studying their Polar regions topic and made this model.
Year 6 worked on biography and completed projects on role models and inspiration from the Pudsey area, by Eleanor Horsfield.
Macey Nowell completed this Black History work in Year 3 about the contribution of Martin Luther King.
